Lots of people can run a game of Dungeons & Dragons, but knowing how to make the game accessible and exciting for beginners is a different skill set.

I’ve spent nearly a decade introducing Dungeons & Dragons to all kinds of new players — from shy adults to hyper-active eight year olds. The video I created explaining Dungeons & Dragons has earned over two million views on YouTube, and was featured on the official D&D website for several years.

Most importantly, I have a track record of being able to work professionally in a dynamic environment. I’ve run public games in crowded bars under strict time constraints, and I’ve worked with parents to run adventures that catered to their kids’ unique interests and needs.

It’s a game master’s responsibility to create an environment of respect, wonder, and playfulness. That’s a a tricky job, but my track record shows that I’m more than capable of handling it.
